MCC’s Work & Skills team hold recruitment events at Central Library every few months. Employers like the Council, the NHS, and even huge companies like Apple attend with vacancies waiting to be filled. There are 1000 Eventbrite slots to be booked each time, and I’ve never failed to fully book out an event.
My campaign strategy instead focuses on shareability and virality, encouraging users to share our social posts to their feeds or tag their friends in. The numbers speak for themselves: just the highest performing post in the campaign, from June 2025, generated 250k impressions and 2.1k link clicks.
Public sector budgets being what they are, there has never been any money available for this campaign; I’m really proud to say that these results have been achieved entirely organically.
